Discover The Benefits Of Being A WAHM

Being a work at home mom or a WAHM is a excellent job. You can stay at home with your children all day so there are no daycare expenses. You can never be late for work. If you aspire to you can always hang out in your PJ’s all day so long as you still work. You can be an entrepreneur and run your own business where your potential income is limitless! And you can live in a untidy house and worry about getting the laundry done just like every other mother in the world.

Mom is typically the Chief Executive Officer of the entire household. It doesn’t matter if she works outside or inside the house her job is to make certain that the household runs efficiently. It can be overwhelming at times. A work at home mom has to be even more disciplined seeing as she is busy working and making a living and she shouldn’t take time away from work to clean the house, do the laundry and scrub the toilets even if it will just take a second.

In most households the Mom does the bulk of the cleaning of the kitchen and the laundry and scrubbing the toilets. Along with planning the meals, doing the grocery shopping and attending all of the PTA meetings. Many Dad’s help out and I am not saying that they don’t but for some reason the messy kitchen and the dirty dishes seem to scream louder at Mom than they do at Dad.

Sure, most of that is mom’s fault. Most mom’s want to have it all, a fantastic business or career, tons of money in the bank, well behaved and gorgeous children and a clean home to boot. In addition we also want plenty of free time to workout and get in shape, read books, surf the Internet and enjoy family time. Can a WAHM have it all?

While you are trying to do the whole thing all by yourself, the fact is that there are only so many hours in a day and something has to give. They say behind every successful woman is a large pile of dirty laundry and in that regard “they” are right. It’s tough to get the laundry done when you’re working on bringing home the bacon.

But in a perfect world, Moms could delegate out the everyday jobs that never seem to get done. The first thing would be to hire a housecleaner. A number of people love to clean house and some people are in fact good at it. Mom can be working on the business and doing what she does best while the person who loves to clean can stop by and earn some money by cleaning her home.

Then mom can get somebody to do the laundry, the yard work, and start getting the groceries delivered. Mom’s time is better spent working at something else!

Although even with all of the challenges of working at home while getting the laundry done and keeping the house clean being a WAHM is a cool job. Can’t beat it. But the kitchen is still a mess and there is a big pile of dirty clothes on the laundry room floor. Better hire that maid right away!
